Wuxi Zhongxin Special Steel · Electrical steel exporter
Premium CRGO Steel Manufacturer & Grain-Oriented Silicon Steel SupplierAlso non-oriented (CRNGO) & ultra-thin silicon steel, 0.05–0.65 mm
We roll, slit and export grain-oriented, non-oriented and ultra-thin silicon steel to transformer and motor manufacturers worldwide — core loss to 0.90 W/kg, 200,000 t/yr capacity, quotations in 24 hours.
Who we are
A Wuxi mill built for export
Wuxi Zhongxin Special Steel Co., Ltd. manufactures grain-oriented (CRGO), non-oriented (CRNGO) and ultra-thin silicon steel for transformer cores and motor laminations, shipped to buyers across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Slitting, laser scribing, annealing and coating are handled in-house, so grade, gauge and coil width are matched to your line rather than sold off a fixed catalog.
Three product lines
Grain-oriented, non-oriented & ultra-thin silicon steel
Choose by how the magnetic field moves in your design, then drill into thickness and grade.
Grain-oriented · CRGO
Grain-Oriented (CRGO)
Directionally rolled for the lowest loss along the grain — the core material for power and distribution transformers.
- Thickness0.23–0.35 mm
- Core loss P1.7/50≤ 0.90 W/kg
- Induction B8≥ 1.88 T
Non-oriented · CRNGO
Non-Oriented (CRNGO)
Uniform magnetic properties in every direction — for rotating machines where the field turns through a full 360°.
- Thickness0.35–0.65 mm
- Core loss P1.5/50≤ 2.5 W/kg
- Induction B50≥ 1.70 T
Ultra-Thin Silicon Steel
Gauges down to 0.05 mm to cut high-frequency loss — grain-oriented and non-oriented, for HF transformers and high-speed EV motors.
- Thickness0.05–0.20 mm
- TypesCRGO & CRNGO
- ForHF cores, EV motors

FAQ
Sourcing silicon steel from Zhongxin
What does Wuxi Zhongxin Special Steel manufacture?
We manufacture and export grain-oriented (CRGO), non-oriented (CRNGO) and ultra-thin silicon steel, 0.05–0.65 mm, supplied as coil, sheet, slit strip or stamped laminations to transformer and motor manufacturers worldwide. See the full product range.
Which grade should I choose for my transformer or motor?
Start with how the field moves — one axis points to CRGO, a rotating field to CRNGO — then pick thickness by frequency and grade by whether loss, cost or strength matters most. Send us the application and we’ll recommend a grade and gauge, or check the grade equivalents chart.
Can you match a specific grade, like M400-50A or 50W470?
Yes — we supply across GB, EN, JIS and AISI, and can cross-reference your grade to the Chinese equivalent. Send the grade or a datasheet and we’ll confirm the match and quote.
What’s the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on grade, thickness and width. Tell us your target volume on the quote form and we’ll confirm what’s workable — trial quantities are possible for new projects.
How fast can you quote and ship?
Quotes come within 24 hours. Common grades often ship from stock in days; made-to-order runs and non-standard widths typically take a few weeks.
Do you provide free samples?
Yes — free samples are usually ready within about a week, so you can test core loss and stampability before committing to a full order.
Which standards and certifications do you hold?
Production runs under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with material to GB, EN, JIS or AISI grades and RoHS / REACH compliance. A mill test certificate ships with every order — see certifications.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We pack coils and pallets in seaworthy, moisture-proof packaging and ship to any port. Payment terms are agreed at the order stage — contact our sales team to get started.
