Electrical Steel ProductsCRGO, CRNGO & ultra-thin silicon steel
Grain-oriented, non-oriented and ultra-thin silicon steel from 0.05 to 0.65 mm — low-core-loss magnetic materials for transformer cores, motor laminations and high-frequency applications, supplied worldwide from Wuxi, China.
Three product lines
Choose by how the magnetic field moves
The core distinction is grain orientation. Pick the line that matches your application, then drill into thickness and grade.
Grain-Oriented Silicon Steel
Directionally rolled for the lowest loss along the grain — the core material for power and distribution transformers.
- Thickness0.23–0.35 mm
- Core loss P1.7/50≤ 0.90 W/kg
- Induction B8≥ 1.88 T
Non-Oriented Silicon Steel
Uniform magnetic properties in every direction — for rotating machines where the field turns through a full 360°.
- Thickness0.35–0.65 mm
- Core loss P1.5/50≤ 2.5 W/kg
- Induction B50≥ 1.70 T
Ultra-Thin Silicon Steel
Gauges down to 0.05 mm to cut high-frequency loss. Supplied in two types — choose by application:
- Ultra-thin grain-orientedHF transformers, reactors · GT-050→
- Ultra-thin non-orientedEV & high-speed motors · 0.10 mm→

FAQ
Sourcing silicon steel from us
What’s the difference between grain-oriented and non-oriented silicon steel?
Grain-oriented (CRGO) steel is rolled so its grains align on one axis, giving the lowest loss where flux runs one way — transformer cores. Non-oriented (CRNGO) steel has random grains, so it performs the same in every direction — for motors and generators where the field rotates.
How do I choose the right grade for my transformer or motor?
Start with how the field moves — one axis points to CRGO, a rotating field to CRNGO — then pick thickness by frequency and grade by whether loss, cost or strength matters most. Send us the application and we’ll recommend a grade and gauge.
Can you match a specific grade, like M400-50A or 50W470?
Yes — we supply across GB, EN, JIS and AISI, and can cross-reference your grade to the Chinese equivalent. Send the grade or a datasheet and we’ll confirm the match and quote.
What’s the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on grade, thickness and width. Tell us your target volume and we’ll confirm what’s workable — trial quantities are possible for new projects.
How fast can you quote and ship?
Quotes come within 24 hours. Common grades often ship from stock in days; made-to-order runs and non-standard widths typically take a few weeks.
Do you provide samples?
Yes — free samples are usually ready within about a week, so you can test the material before committing.
Which standards and certifications do you hold?
Production runs under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with material to GB, EN, JIS or AISI grades and RoHS / REACH compliance. A mill test certificate ships with every order.
Can you cut to my sizes?
Yes — precision slitting to width, cut-to-length sheet, and stamped laminations to your drawing.
How do you handle export?
Seaworthy, moisture-proof packaging on coils or pallets, shipped to any port. We’ll align on payment terms at the order stage.
